If you’re a fan of second-hand goods, you probably use Vinted, the classified ads and online marketplace app founded in 2008 in Vilnius, Lithuania, which has become one of the most visited websites in France: Vinted is ranked 4th in the top 10 in terms of audience for the first quarter of 2023. Given its success in France, it was only logical for this C2C second-hand giant to develop its own logistics network by installing lockers throughout France: Vinted Go.
Tutorial: how to find a Vinted Go locker in just a few clicks?
Many readers have told us that they have difficulty finding the Vinted Go locker closest to their home. It’s true that when you visit the Vinted website to find this information, the process is not straightforward.
Here is a simple tutorial to help you locate your nearest Vinted Go drop-off point:
- Go to this URL: https://vintedgo.com/fr/carrier-locations
- Enter the full name of your city: for example, Carrières-sur-Seine
- if you have not enabled geolocation on your browser, the map will show the global Vinted Go network and will not take into account the fact that you are connected from a French IP address,
- So if you enter a postal code, for example, or even the first few letters of your city, you will see that you will be given a list of cities from all over the world. That’s why we recommend that you enter your complete search accurately in order to find the Vinted Go pickup point.
- Click on the name of your city: Once you have selected your city, the map will show you a complete list of Vinted Go drop-off points in that city, as in the example here for Carrières-sur-Seine.
- Check availability (capacity): Vinted Go lockers are connected to the internet, and you can see the locker’s fill rate in real time, with indicators such as “Low capacity” or “Unavailable,” which will save you from traveling to a locker that no longer has space for your package.

Second-hand delivery: a strategic factor in user satisfaction
Like any e-commerce platform handling large transaction volumes, logistics is one of the key factors in ensuring a smooth shopping experience for “vinties,” the name given to members of the Vinted community. Until now, Vinted has used several external service providers, such as Mondial Relay, Chronopost, and Relais Colis, as do thousands of other e-commerce sites.
But with shipping volumes growing rapidly, the cost of delivery represents a significant part of the business and a strategic area to be internalized. It was therefore logical to consider setting up its own logistics network. To do this, Vinted decided to design parcel lockers, called Vlockers, which operate automatically.
How do Vinted Go’s Vlockers work?
To launch its logistics project, Vinted began by creating and installing lockers for its parcels, called Vlockers, which are the starting point for parcels transiting through Vinted Go. These lockers are located in stores such as Franprix, Casino, Monoprix, and Carrefour. They are also becoming increasingly common in convenience stores, alongside Amazon Lockers.
Once your package is in the locker, Vinted Go relies on a network of partners in France, such as Mondial Relay, Relais Colis, and Colis Privé. To put it simply, to our knowledge, Vinted has not hired any delivery drivers to transport packages from its lockers: it relies on its partners’ delivery drivers to pool the transport of their goods to their intended destination. However, for the end consumer, who is a member of Vinted, this is completely transparent: their package arrives at the Vinted Go locker they chose when placing their order.

Routes de Vinted Go also offers parcel shipping in France and Europe
Vinted’s approach doesn’t stop there, as it also offers individuals and professionals the ability to ship their parcels using Vinted Go, even if the order does not originate from the second-hand platform. In practical terms, rather than sending via Colissimo or Chronopost, you can send via Vinted Go… especially since the shipping rates are attractive.
For now, Vinted Go covers six countries: France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Italy, and the Netherlands. These are all countries where the app is already available, so it was logical for them to be included in the list of countries served. In terms of rates, for shipments within France and abroad, the rates are quite competitive, namely:
- from France to France: from €3.79
- from France to Belgium/Netherlands: from €4.49
- From France to Italy/Spain/Portugal: from €5.99
